Kireka, Wakiso District · Uganda

Ugandan produce and halal protein, moved from the field to your port.

Comafro Limited owns the whole chain: contracted growers and cattle supply in central Uganda, our own feedlot management, halal-standard processing, and the export documentation and freight that get a container onto the water.

The chain · four links

One company across every step, so nothing is lost between hands.

01 · Field

Growers and cattle supply

Contracted smallholders and farm groups across Wakiso, Mpigi and Luweero. We agree varieties and harvest windows before planting, and we buy at the collection point.

02 · Feedlot

Finishing on programme

Cattle enter a managed 90–120 day ration with weight tracking, veterinary cover and traceable pen records — so carcass weight and grade are predictable, not a gamble.

03 · Processing

Halal slaughter and pack

Slaughterhouse design and operation to halal requirements — supervised slaughter, separated clean and dirty flows, chilling, cutting and carton packing to the buyer's specification.

04 · Logistics

Documents and freight

Phytosanitary and halal certification, certificate of origin, customs clearance, reefer booking and consolidation — one set of paperwork, one point of contact.

What a first order with us looks like

We are a young company and we do not ask buyers to take that on faith. A first order starts small, runs on documented specification, and is inspected before it leaves Uganda.

Step 1You send product, volume, packing and destination. We reply with a quoted FOB or CFR price and a lead time.
Step 2We agree a written specification: variety, grade, size count, carton, temperature, and the certificates you need at your port.
Step 3Trial shipment — usually one pallet by air or a single reefer — with photos and weights at loading.
Step 4On acceptance, we move to a standing weekly or monthly programme against a supply contract.

Documentation we prepare per shipment

  • ·Phytosanitary certificate (fresh produce)
  • ·Halal slaughter certificate (meat)
  • ·Veterinary health certificate
  • ·Certificate of origin
  • ·Commercial invoice and packing list
  • ·Bill of lading or air waybill

Additional market-specific documents — including importer-country halal body attestation — are arranged on request.
